Miranda Hall holds a Bachelor of Health Science in Occupational Therapy from Auckland University of Technology. Since 2004, she has worked extensively with children. Her career began as a Senior Therapist in New Zealand, working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Here she gained extensive knowledge on child development and behaviour modification. Miranda took her knowledge of child development and behaviour to the Waitemata District Health Board - Child Development Service, where she provided assessment and treatment to preschool aged children with a diverse set of needs.
Since returning home to Canada in 2008, Miranda has worked as an Occupational Therapist in the School Health Support Services. As a consultant, she has provided assessment, programming and equipment recommendations for school aged children with a variety of special needs. Throughout her years of service to different organizations, Miranda has worked as a private Occupational Therapist to assess and treat children and educate their families. Her dedication to the wellness of children is recognized and respected throughout the Peterborough area.
Outside of work, Miranda enjoys the outdoors with her husband and three children, skiing, hiking and swimming.
Miranda is registered in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapy of Ontario and the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists.
